I told my husband when we moved in that there was something wrong with the bathtub. There is the top part and there is the tub part. In between the two is a uncaulked seem. It was filled with ickyness. He said oh no that is fine blah blah. I'll clean it and it will be fine. Then I went in for the tonsillectomy. It never got cleaned. Then he got a second job. Then this week we got ants in our bathtub. Everytime we get in the bathtub we have to wash away a couple of ants. I have never heard of this. Well, that combined with all the ickyness of three months of not properly washing the bathtub got to me.
Last night at 9pm, I ran to Target to get scrubbing bubbles. That stuff is the best! So, I spray it on and leave it and go to wipe it all down. I have to use my fingernail covered in a wash cloth to get the crack between the tub and shower units. Then I spray it all down. We have one of those shower heads that has the flexable arm, so I was able to get it under and spray up. Large chunks just kept coming out and coming out.
It dawned on me that it was more likely that these large brown, woody looking chunks could be the wall behind the tub (which leads to my closet). So I stopped and put in a work order for the office. Anyways, has anybody else ever had ants in just their bathtub, I think that is an odd one!

I have not had ants in the tub.. but I must say.. this does not sound good!
No ants in the bathtub, but I had them coming out of an outlet in my apartment kitchen about 3 times a year. After not really getting a response from the management (they said they sprayed...but did they really??), I found that I was able to end their tour of my house very easily by using Febreeze - I just sparyed the Febreeze all around and then into the outlet and on the entire wall around it--and they would stop coming in within an hour or so and then I wouldn't see them for weeks and weeks! Quick and easy solution for my little ant problem! :)
I have been getting little bugs in my bathtub. I'm not sure if they're ants or not. Every time we take a shower we have to wash them out. Then a couple of hours later they are there again. I can't find anyway for them to be coming in. They stay at the bottom of the tub, and they're not by the drain. I don't know what to use to get ride of them.

If my back is bad, I won't be replying. If it isn't too bad I will.
I will stop by your site though eventually, regardless!
