Frugal Friday and Virtual Girls Night Out

Photobucket Hey don't forget to join in the Virtual Girls Night Out Party at Ann Again ... and again.

Go To The Movies For Free All Summer

Every year since 1991 Regal Cinema's hosts a "Free family festival" all summer long. This program can provide a great relief to stay a home moms during the summer. For free on Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, you can go see select PG and G movies. The tickets are handed out at the theater the day of the show. You can't get them early. You can also sign-up for an e-mail notification so you know what will be playing. The festival starts June 23 and runs for 9 weeks. In my area they will be playing Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and Bee Movie on the first week. You can find out what is playing in your area by visiting the Regal Free Family Festival website.

Friday's I usually get the house in order. While I do that I also think up next week's game plan including dinner. Since, I am cleaning I can usually put together a list of what we are out of and get the shopping done over the weekend or first thing Monday. This helps me enjoy the weekend, everything is done and ready to go for next week.
Frugal Tip
For items that have a long shelf life try stocking up on the super cheap by using a coupon along with a sale at your local store. You can usually sign up for a weekly sale "paper" to be delivered to your e-mail box for your favorite grocery stores.

*Note about installing the coupon printer. I understand that sometimes you don't want to down load anything onto your computer. The program may collect data and slow down your computer. I have found a bit of away around this that you may also want to use for this and any other programs request permission to freely access the internet. I have McAfee and when I down load a program or use one it gives me some options, Allow Access, Allow Access Once, Block Access and I think another one. Well, I always choose Allow Access Once. I use this for tweeter applications too. Every time you use the application you'll have to answer the same way.

Happy VGNO to you!! I love the free movies in the summer. When it is really hot and humid it is a nice break. I just hope my four year old will finally sit through a movie!!

I didn't know that about the movies! How cool!

How are you doing in the heat today? We were going to the Rose Festival but I just don't do well with the heat. (I keep reminding Rob that I'm a 'delicate flower' :-> )

Happy VGNO!!!

I liked the Bee Movie. I looked into some coupon sites, but like you said I didn't want to download anything. Maybe I'll try the trick you said with it.

Thanks for sharing. Happy VGNO!

I'm late, but I'm here. Got tired Friday night before I got through all the blogs.

Yesterday was super-busy, fell into bed with my computer (for once!)

So here I am!

While I'm here, I'll have a brownie with cream cheese- 2 of my faves in one!

Hope you'all had a good one!
